In today's heartland market talk we discussed how mandates are losing their bite on row crop prices, and how ethanol is freely made today without subsidies and mandates becoming irrelevant as the market is sucking up the supply. Unlike wind energy which is not reliable, they still receive subsidies after 25 years, corn barely has of these for 10 years and wind energy requires mandates to grow.
